Canceling Invitations

Invitations automatically expire 24 hours after being sent. You can cancel an invitation by manually expiring the invitation prior to the 24 hour limit.

To cancel an invitation to a CxEngage tenant: 

  1. Access the tenant that the invitation being canceled is for.
    • If the user is invited to additional tenants, those invitations will not be impacted by this cancellation.
  2. Go to User Management > Users.
  3. Click on the user to open their user details panel.
    • Tip: The user status will be Pending Acceptance
  4. Click on Cancel Invitation.
  5. Click OK on the confirmation message that appears.
    The invitation is revoked and the user status shows as Pending Invitation.
